What is crowdINNO.com?
crowdINNO.com is derived from the the terms "Crowd" and "Innovation". Taking its cue from "Open Innovation", Crowd Innovation is its consequent advancement. Whereas the integration of external innovation sources is often concentrated on a narrow circle of (lead) users, Crowd Innovation is unleashing the great potential of "the crowd" by using latest web 2.0 technologies. It offers three unique effects:
- the power of an incomparable large number of ideas, concepts and innovations developed,
- the integration of a broad range of people with different backgrounds and therefore extremely diverse ideas and concepts and
- the huge potential of having those people work together leading to what is called the wisdom of the crowd.
In a nutshell, Crowd Innovation offers a unique opportunity for organizations to source innovations from outside. Besides gaining second-to-none market insights involving the crowd leads to ideas with higher usability as well as innovativeness.
At crowdINNO we are dedicated to creating the ideal framework for Crowd Innovation and making this magic happen. However, we think it is important not only to create concepts, but to really push them forward. Therefore, we accompany the process of new product development based on your concepts from the initial Jury Evaluation and the announcement of our winners up to the integration into the according organization. Wherever possible we will try to let you participate, if your concept was chosen to be pursued. At the very least, we will definitely update you on our progress via our Blog.
Last but not least, we are doing our best to improve crowdINNO every single day. Thus, we are grateful for any kind of feedback, especially since this is a very early Beta version with several improvements to follow.
